AIApply vs LinkedIn Premium — which should I use?
They solve different problems, so the choice depends on what you need. LinkedIn Premium is built around LinkedIn itself — InMail credits, profile insights, “who viewed you,” and seeing how you compare to other applicants on LinkedIn job postings. AIApply is built around the application workflow itself: Auto Apply submits applications to jobs on your behalf across multiple sources, Tailoring tailors your resume and cover letter to each posting, and Premium gives you a Resume Builder, Cover Letter Generator, Application Kit, and Mock Interview Tool. If you want better visibility and networking inside LinkedIn, LinkedIn Premium is the fit. If you want to apply to more roles faster with tailored materials and interview prep, AIApply is the fit. The two aren't mutually exclusive — many users run both.
Is AIApply better than applying manually?
AIApply is built to do at scale what manual applying does one role at a time. Auto Apply can submit up to 70 applications per day based on your criteria, with each application getting a tailored resume (with the tailoring subscription) and a tailored cover letter when one is requested — work that would take hours per role to do by hand. Beyond volume, you also get supporting tools manual applying doesn't include: Mock Interviews for practice, Interview Buddy for real-time help in live interviews, and an inbox that tracks invitations and assessment requests. Manual applying still has advantages for a small number of high-priority roles where you want to invest deeply per application — which is why some users combine both, letting Auto Apply handle volume while hand-crafting the few applications they care about most.
Can I use AIApply for internships or entry-level roles only?
You can apply to entry-level roles through AIApply, but internships are not currently supported. If your search is focused entirely on entry-level positions, you can configure your job titles, seniority, and other criteria in Preferences → Job Preferences so Auto Apply only targets roles at that level.
