Editing sections, experience, and skills

All resumes can be edited from your dashboard. To do this:

  1. Go to “Resumes” in the menu on the left side. A panel will appear with all the resumes you’ve uploaded or created.

  2. Click the “Edit” button on the resume you want to modify. You’ll be redirected to the editor.

  3. Edit your resume manually using the editing elements that appear on the left side, alongside the resume content.

If you prefer AI assistance, click the “Edit with AI” button in the bottom-right corner. A chat will open where you can describe the changes you want.

AI suggestions and rewrites

The Resume Builder includes an “Edit with AI” option that lets you rewrite or refine your resume using natural-language instructions. To use it, open the resume you want to edit and click the “Edit with AI” button in the bottom-right corner. A chat will open where you can describe what you’d like to change — for example, making it more formal, shortening it, or adapting it to a specific role — and the AI will apply your instructions to the resume.

Tips for ATS-friendly formatting

To make sure your resume passes Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), our main recommendations are:

  • Use the Harvard template, as it’s the most ATS-friendly option among the available designs.

  • Avoid symbols and special characters that ATS systems may have trouble parsing.

Exporting and downloading your resume

Once your resume is ready, you can export it as a PDF or share it via a link directly from the Resume Builder. This makes it easy to attach your resume to applications, send it to recruiters, or share it with anyone who needs to review it.
