Before you connect, see Connect AIApply to your AI assistant for an overview of what the assistant can and can’t do.
What happens when you connect
Your assistant sends you to AIApply, and you sign in the way you normally do.
AIApply shows you which assistant is asking, what it can read, and the extra permissions it’s asking for.
Nothing is shared until you approve. You can refuse and close the page instead.
Connecting your assistant
Claude (web, desktop and mobile)
In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and browse or search the directory for AIApply

On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, your organization’s Owner decides which connectors members can use. If you can’t connect AIApply, ask your Owner to allow it.

Claude Code and other command-line tools
Command-line tools connect with AIApply’s server address: https://aiapply.co/mcp
For Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http aiapply https://aiapply.co/mcp claude mcp login aiapply
On older versions of Claude Code there’s no login command. Run /mcp inside Claude Code instead and pick AIApply.
For OpenClaw:
openclaw mcp add aiapply --url https://aiapply.co/mcp --transport streamable-http openclaw mcp login aiapply
Any other assistant that supports custom MCP connectors can use the same address with OAuth sign-in.
Disconnecting an assistant
The surest way is in AIApply: go to Account Settings → Connected apps, find the assistant under Connected assistants, and select Disconnect. Access ends immediately.
Removing AIApply inside the assistant may not end its access on AIApply’s side straight away. To be sure, disconnect it in AIApply too.
A connection you stop using expires on its own after 30 days.
Troubleshooting
I can’t find AIApply in the directory — search for “AIApply” exactly. On a work or school account, your admin may need to allow it.
The assistant says it doesn’t have access to AIApply — start a new chat and turn AIApply on for it. If it still doesn’t work, disconnect it and connect again.
The assistant says it isn’t allowed to do something — you didn’t tick that permission when you connected. Disconnect it in Account Settings → Connected apps, connect again, and tick the permission.
Adding jobs or applying is refused — these need an active Auto Apply plan and credits. Check your plan in AIApply.
Sign-in keeps failing — make sure you’re signing in to the same AIApply account you use on the website, then try again.
You can manage your connected assistants anytime here.
