AIApply provides tools to tailor resumes for job applications, ensuring they are tailored to specific job requirements. This article explains how to access and manage these tailored resumes, the differences between original and tailored files, and any limitations to be aware of.

Overview of Resume Tailoring

AIApply’s resume tailoring feature allows users to generate tailored resumes for each job application. These tailored resumes are created using the Tailoring add-on and are submitted as part of the application process. Importantly, these tailored versions do not replace the original resume file uploaded by the user. Additionally, users can review and edit their tailored resumes before submission to ensure they meet the job requirements.

Accessing Tailored Resumes Post-Application

To view and download the tailored resume submitted with a job application, follow these steps:

  1. Open your AIApply dashboard and locate the application marked as “applied.”

  2. Click on the application to open it.

  3. Navigate to the “review” section.

  4. From there, you can view and download the submitted resume, cover letter, and any responses to application questions.

Note: Each document must be downloaded individually per application; there is no bulk download option.

Differences Between Original and Tailored Resumes

Tailored resumes generated by the Tailoring add-on are specific to the job application they are submitted for. These resumes:

  • Can only be viewed after the application has been submitted.

  • Do not replace the original resume file uploaded by the user.

To use the Auto-Customize Resume feature, ensure your resume is set to “Use for Auto Apply.”

Limitations and Additional Notes

  • Tailored resumes are accessible only after submission of the application.

  • Documents must be downloaded individually; there is no option for bulk downloads.

By understanding these features and limitations, users can effectively manage their resumes and ensure they are tailored to each job application.
