Will AIApply apply to jobs I don't want?
You control this through your criteria and tool mode. In Auto Mode, the system applies automatically based on your form and preferences, so the closer your criteria reflect what you actually want, the fewer off-target applications you'll see. If you want full control, Review Mode requires manual approval for every suggested job. When you reject a job, completing the feedback form afterward is important — you can flag the reason (Expired, Company, Location, Salary, Job Title, Seniority, Your Skillset), and the AI uses that to improve future matches. You can update your criteria at any time from Preferences → Quick Settings or Job Preferences, and changes take effect immediately.
How does AIApply know which jobs I'm qualified for?
Auto Apply uses the form and preferences you set up — including job titles, location preferences, salary expectations, and your resume — to identify matches. The most compatible jobs are prioritized first, which is why fit scores are typically higher in the first few days and may decrease slightly as the queue progresses. The AI also learns from your feedback: when you reject a suggested job and specify the reason (Expired, Company, Location, Salary, Job Title, Seniority, Your Skillset), that signal improves future recommendations.
Can I exclude specific companies?
Yes. When completing the form, you can add companies you'd like to exclude from your search. Enter the company's full name without abbreviations to make sure the exclusion is recognized properly. If you want to add more excluded companies later, go to Preferences and update your settings there.
How do I set my job preferences?
Go to your dashboard and click Preferences, which redirects you to Quick Settings. From Quick Settings, you can update your application mode, enable email forwarding, change your resume, and update your job titles. For more detailed changes — location preferences, profile photo, salary expectations, and more — click Job Preferences. Any changes you make take effect immediately, and if Auto Apply is already running, it will use your updated preferences for future matches right away.
What if AIApply applies to jobs in the wrong industry?
Update your criteria in Preferences → Job Preferences, and when you reject mismatched suggestions, complete the feedback form and select the relevant reason (such as Job Title or Your Skillset). The AI uses these signals to improve future recommendations. Changes to criteria take effect immediately for new matches. If the problem persists, contact support through the website chat so the team can review your case.
What if I keep getting applied to roles missing required certifications?
Reject those suggestions and complete the feedback form afterward, selecting Your Skillset or Seniority as the reason — that feedback helps the AI improve future matches. You can also refine your criteria in Job Preferences to tighten job titles, seniority, and other filters. Changes take effect immediately. If the issue continues, contact support through the website chat to review your specific case.
Can I run Auto Apply for multiple job titles at once?
Yes. From Preferences → Quick Settings, you can update your job titles (plural). The system uses those titles, along with your other criteria, to find and apply to matching roles. Adding multiple titles is one way to broaden criteria if too few jobs are being found, since narrow title preferences are one of the strict-criteria signals that reduce daily application volume.
What happens if Auto Apply finds zero matching jobs?
When few or no jobs are being found, the cause is almost always criteria that are too strict. The most common culprits are narrow location preferences, very specific job titles, or tight seniority levels. The fix is to broaden your criteria from Preferences → Job Preferences: add adjacent or related job titles, expand your location radius (or enable remote roles), and loosen seniority filters where it makes sense. Changes take effect immediately, so the next search cycle will use the updated criteria. If you've broadened criteria and the issue persists, contact support to review your specific setup.
Will Auto Apply apply to the same job twice?
No. Auto Apply tracks every job it has already submitted to and won't apply to the same posting again. You can verify this yourself from the Auto Apply dashboard: open Your Jobs and use the Applied filter to see every job that has already been applied to, along with its application details. If you ever see what looks like a duplicate, it's almost always the same role posted on a different site or under a slightly different title — contact support if you want a specific case reviewed.
Can I apply to remote-only jobs?
Yes — you can apply to both remote and onsite/hybrid jobs through Auto Apply. You can even mix modalities: for example, applying remotely to roles in a country you're interested in, and onsite or hybrid to roles near your own city or area. Location and work-mode preferences are configured in Job Preferences (Preferences → Job Preferences from your dashboard) and take effect immediately.
Why did one of my applications fail or not go through?
Applications can fail for reasons outside the tool's control — for example, a site error on the employer's portal, an issue with the application form, or a posting that expired before submission. In those cases, the failed attempt doesn't spend a credit from your plan, so you don't lose volume because of a problem on the job board's side. If you notice repeated failures or want a specific case reviewed, contact support through the website chat.
