What are Application Kits?
The Application Kit is a Premium tool that instantly generates everything you need to apply for a specific job: a resume tailored to the job description, an AI-generated cover letter, and a follow-up email template for contacting HR — all in one go. Unlike the Auto-Apply feature, which automates the job application process, Application Kits are specifically intended for users who prefer a more hands-on approach to applying for jobs.
Creating your first Application Kit
To create an Application Kit:
Go to "Application Kits" from the menu on the left side. A panel will appear where you can manage all your application kits and track job applications.
Click "New Application Kit".
Provide a base resume (choose from your existing resumes or upload a new one) and the job description for the role you're applying to.
Click "Generate".
The system will instantly generate a tailored resume, a personalized cover letter, and a follow-up email template, all based on that job posting.
Note: If your kit comes back blank or doesn't generate, try simplifying the job description and avoid bullet points or special symbols, which can sometimes interfere with generation.
What’s inside an Application Kit
Each Application Kit includes three deliverables:
Tailored resume — a version of your resume adjusted to highlight the experience and skills most relevant to the job description. Can be downloaded as a PDF.
Personalized cover letter — an AI-generated cover letter addressed to the role and company, written to complement the resume. Can be downloaded as a PDF.
Follow-up email template — a short, ready-to-send email you can use to check in with the company after applying. Can be copied and pasted into your email client.
Sharing or downloading your Application Kit
To access and download your kits:
Go to “Application Kits” in the menu on the left side. You’ll see all the kits you’ve created.
On the right side of each Application Kit, you’ll see three buttons:
• Resume — opens the resume with the option to download it as a PDF.
• Cover Letter — opens the cover letter with the option to download it as a PDF.
• Open Kit — opens the full Application Kit, where you can download both the cover letter and the resume, and copy the follow-up email.
