Getting started: your first 24 hours with Auto Apply

Once you purchase your subscription and complete the form, what you can expect during your first 24 hours depends on two main factors: how strict or flexible your criteria are, and the tool mode you’ve selected (Review Mode, Auto Mode, or Hybrid Mode).

The daily application limit is 70 applications. If you have flexible criteria and Auto Mode enabled, you can generally expect up to 70 applications to be submitted within the first 24 hours. However, the daily number may be lower in the following cases:

  • If the tool is set to Review Mode or Hybrid Mode, since these require manual approvals and you may not agree with every suggested job.

  • If the tool is in Auto Mode but your criteria are very strict — for example, narrow location preferences, very specific job titles, or seniority levels.

If you notice that not many jobs are being found, we recommend slightly broadening your criteria to maximize the number of applications submitted and increase your chances of getting interviews.

Another important thing to keep in mind: the most compatible jobs are always prioritized first. Because of this, you may see higher fit scores during the first few days, while over time the jobs found may have slightly lower fit scores as the queue progresses.

What to expect in your first week

During your first week, smaller plans (100 or 250 applications) may already complete their queue if Auto Mode is enabled and criteria are flexible. Larger plans will continue applying at the daily limit and take longer to finish.

You may also start receiving your first interview invitations during this period. For this reason, it's very important to regularly check your Auto Apply inbox for:

  • Interview invitations.

  • Requests to complete assessments on company work portals.

Note: If an assessment is required, the application details will include the login credentials needed to access the company portal. Auto Apply creates these accounts on your behalf during the application process.

What to do when you get an interview invite

After applying, you’ll start seeing emails in your Auto Apply inbox related both to application confirmations and interview invitations. We always recommend keeping an eye on the Auto Apply inbox, as some companies may send additional assessments or tasks that must be completed to continue in the hiring process.

When you receive an interview invitation, you'll see it tagged as Interview Invite in your inbox. From there, the company may either:

  • Send you a scheduling link so you can choose the time that works best for you.

  • Coordinate directly through email with someone from their HR team.

To help you prepare for your interview, we recommend using our Mock Interview tool. During the actual interview, we also recommend using Interview Buddy for additional support and guidance.

Auto Apply offers three modes so you can choose the level of automation and control that best fits your job search:

  • Auto Mode — Our AI agents automatically search for jobs and apply on your behalf without requiring manual approvals. This is the best option for users who prefer a fully automated experience.

  • Hybrid Mode — High fit score jobs (Strong Match) are automatically submitted, while lower fit score jobs require manual approval before applying. This is a great middle-ground between automation and control.

  • Review Mode — All suggested jobs require manual approval before applications are submitted. This mode gives you maximum control — nothing is sent without your approval.
