Overview of Auto-Apply Functionality

When you sign up for the Auto-Apply feature in AIApply, the system creates a dedicated inbox on your behalf. This inbox is used to process all job applications to ensure submissions are completed reliably. Please note that this inbox cannot be changed. If you prefer to monitor application-related communications through your personal email, you can forward messages from the dedicated inbox to your personal email address. Alternatively, you can check the dedicated inbox directly for updates.

Managing Application Submissions

To ensure the Auto-Apply system continues to find and submit applications for you, it is important to manage your pending queue. Approve or reject jobs in the queue to allow the system to focus on finding new matches.

Reviewing the Details of a Submitted Application

You can look up the full details of any submitted application directly from your dashboard:

  1. Open the "Your Jobs" tab and use the Applied filter.

  2. Open the job you want to review. A window will open with three tabs:

    • Overview — the job description and key details.

    • Job fit — how the role matches your criteria, and why.

    • Review — the resume and cover letter used, plus any questions answered during the application.

You'll find the direct job link at the bottom of the window.

Monitoring Application Status

You can confirm whether your applications were successfully submitted by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to your Dashboard and open the "Your Jobs" tab.

  2. Use filters to display jobs with the "Applied" status.

  3. Open any job entry to view the details of your submission, including the resume, cover letter, and responses that were sent.

Jobs marked as "Applied" indicate successful submissions. Entries marked as "Failed" were not submitted.

Understanding Credit Usage

The Auto-Apply feature uses credits for job applications. Only jobs with the "Applied" status consume credits. Failed submissions do not use credits. Monitoring your application status as described above will help you track which jobs have used credits. By understanding these processes, you can effectively use the Auto-Apply feature to streamline your job search and manage your applications and credits efficiently.
