How to set your application volume

In this article you’ll learn how to control how many jobs Auto Apply applies to per day and how many jobs can wait for your review at once.

The Application volume section in your Job Preferences lets you control the pace of Auto Apply, how many applications it submits per day, and how many jobs sit in your review queue at once. Both are set per role, so if you use multiple roles, each one has its own volume settings.

Daily application limit

The daily application limit is the most jobs Auto Apply will apply to per day. You can set it anywhere from 10 to 100 applications per day using the slider.

Auto Apply will apply to up to this many jobs each day — never more. Lower limits slow credit consumption and spread your applications out over a longer period. Higher limits burn through credits faster but get your applications out quickly.

You can change this at any time.

Jobs waiting for review

The Jobs waiting for review setting applies if you use Hybrid or Review mode. It controls how many jobs can wait in your queue for your review at once, anywhere from 5 to 100.

When the cap is reached, Auto Apply stops adding new matches for review until you approve or decline some. This gives you two advantages:

  • Faster feedback loop. Smaller batches pick up your feedback sooner. When you decline a job, only new matches reflect that preference, not jobs already in your queue. A smaller cap means the AI learns from your choices more quickly.

  • A more manageable queue. You won’t come back to hundreds of jobs waiting at once.

Your daily application limit still applies on top of this, the review cap controls the queue size, not how fast applications get sent.

Which setting to adjust

  • If applications are going out too fast, lower the daily application limit

  • If applications are going out too slow, raise the daily application limit (and make sure your criteria aren’t too strict)

  • If your review queue feels overwhelming, lower the jobs waiting for review cap

  • If matching keeps pausing because the queue fills up, raise the jobs waiting for review cap

You can adjust these settings anytime from your Job Preferences.
