Auto Apply is designed to streamline the job application process by automatically sending applications to matching job postings based on your criteria. Here's how the feature manages application limits and distribution to ensure a steady, consistent flow.
Application Limits and Distribution
Auto Apply doesn't send all your applications at once — even if your queue could move faster, applications go out gradually throughout each day. This pacing keeps your activity consistent and gives the system time to find and process the best matches for your profile.
Daily Limits: A maximum of 70 applications can be submitted per day, regardless of plan size. When the limit is reached, the queue pauses until it resets the next day.
Criteria for Sending Applications
The total number of applications sent depends on the criteria you set for matching jobs. If your criteria are broad enough, the system will find more matching jobs and send the full application count included in your plan. However, if your criteria are too narrow, fewer applications may be sent because fewer matching jobs will be identified.
Common Scenarios and FAQs
What happens if there aren’t enough matching jobs? If the system can't find enough jobs that match your criteria, fewer applications will be sent than the total number included in your plan. The good news: credits don't expire, so any unused credits stay in your account and will be able to be used as long as your subscription is active. For details on what happens to credits after a subscription ends, see What happens to credits when a subscription ends or is downgraded?
Why are applications sent gradually? Gradual distribution helps the system find high-quality matches over time, rather than burning through your credits in a single burst. It also keeps your activity consistent so you can manage responses, interviews, and assessments without being overwhelmed.
