My mock interview won't start
If your mock interview won't start, try the following:
Check that you have an active subscription, as access to Mock Interviews requires it.
Make sure the interview has been generated correctly — once created, it should appear in the Mock Interviews panel with a Start option in the bottom-right corner.
Confirm you selected a resume and a valid job (either from your Job Board or a manually pasted job description) before clicking Generate.
If the Start button doesn't respond, try refreshing the page and clicking Start again from the Mock Interviews panel.
Audio or video issues during the interview
Mock Interviews is a text-based practice tool: questions and answers are exchanged through text, and you type your responses into the text box displayed below each question. Because the session does not rely on audio or video, no microphone or camera setup is required to complete it.
My session disconnected — can I resume?
Your progress will be lost and the interview must be started again from the beginning. The session won't close on its own; progress is only lost if you close the tab or end the session before clicking Finish Interview.
Feedback didn't generate or looks incomplete
If after clicking Check Answer you don't see the Your Score and Feedback and Tips sections, or they look incomplete, try the following:
Make sure you've written your response in the text box below the question before clicking Check Answer. Empty or extremely short answers may not generate complete feedback.
If the feedback section doesn't appear, refresh the page and return to the Mock Interviews panel — your session should still be available from there.
You can also click Show Answer to see an example response, which can be useful as a reference while you wait for or troubleshoot the feedback.
