Auto Apply setup and common questions

How soon applications start, setting up for the first time, checking your form is complete, which resume gets sent, and applying abroad.

How soon does Auto Apply start submitting applications?

Once your subscription is purchased and your form is complete, Auto Apply can start submitting the same day.

How many applications go out depends on two things: the daily limit you set in Job Preferences → Application volume, anywhere from 10 to 100 per day, and how strict your criteria are. Flexible criteria in Auto Mode produce the most applications fastest. Review Mode and Hybrid Mode are slower because they need your approval, and narrow criteria, specific titles, tight locations, particular seniority levels, mean fewer matches to apply to.

If very few jobs are being found, broadening your criteria slightly is usually the fix.

How do I set up Auto Apply for the first time?

After purchasing your subscription, complete the form. It captures your preferences and the resume to be used.

Once you submit it, the system starts searching for matching jobs and submitting applications, up to the daily limit you've set. Then check the Auto Apply dashboard for your queue and inbox. You can refine your preferences at any time from Preferences → Quick Settings.

How do I know if my form is complete?

Check your queue status on the Auto Apply dashboard. If it shows Pending, your subscription has been purchased but the form isn't finished. Any other status, Applying, Done, Paused, means the form has been submitted and the system can begin searching and applying.

How often does Auto Apply check for new jobs?

Continuously, while your queue is in the Applying status. There's no schedule or batch window, the system searches for new matches against your criteria and submits applications in the background, up to your daily limit.

You don't need to refresh or trigger anything. Just check the Auto Apply dashboard whenever you want to see progress. The most compatible jobs are prioritised first, so fit scores tend to be highest in the early days and may decrease slightly as the queue progresses.

Which version of my resume gets sent to each job?

If you have the Tailored Resume tool enabled, Auto Apply generates a job-specific resume for each application using your profile and the job posting.

If you don't, the resume uploaded in your form, or selected via Use This Resume in Quick Settings, is used for every application.

For best results with tailored resumes, complete and edit the resume the system generates first, since each tailored version is built from that base. You can review the exact resume submitted for any application from your dashboard, under the Review tab of the job.

Can I apply for jobs in another country?

Yes. Set your job preferences to target roles in a specific country and the platform will surface matching opportunities and submit applications there, regardless of where you're currently located.

For example, if you're based in Australia and want roles in Canada, adjust your preferences to focus on Canadian roles.
